The Pilbara Kimberley University Centres’ Broome Study Hub officially reopened on November 10, following its initial opening in September 2023, to accommodate the rising enrolment in higher education. With plans for the University of Notre Dame’s Broome campus to expand course offerings by 2026, the hub has supported over 205 students, including a significant number of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals. The facility offers a modern, secure study environment with 24/7 access, catering to diverse age groups and educational backgrounds. The reopening event featured notable attendees, including Senator Glenn Sterle and local education representatives.
