A schoolboy from Monkseaton, North Tyneside, has been charged with possession of an explosive substance following a police raid on his home after reports of suspicious activity. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team was called to investigate the items found, and the boy is set to appear in Bedlington Magistrates Court on Monday, with authorities stating there is no risk to the public.
