British man shot dead in Costa del Sol by gunman who fled in getaway car

A British man was shot dead in a street shooting in Calahonda, Costa del Sol, around 8.15pm on Monday, prompting a police investigation by the Guardia Civil. Witnesses reported hearing eight to ten shots, and a Cupra vehicle with foreign plates was found burned nearby, believed to be the getaway car of the shooter. While police have not confirmed the victim’s nationality, sources indicate he was a 30-year-old man from Liverpool, and no arrests have been made following a similar incident involving another shooting in the area last week.
