British man burnt to death in the Amazon after locals accuse him of murder

A British man was murdered in Ecuador after being pulled from a police station by locals who accused him of shooting a resident in the village of Playas del Cuyabeno. Despite being arrested for his protection, a mob broke into the station six hours later and set him on fire outside, leading to his death.
