Three women, two from England and one from Ireland, were rescued after being stranded for three days in the Hidden Valley of Nepal’s Mustang region due to severe weather. The group, led by guides from Sacred Himalaya Treks, became lost amidst extreme conditions, which delayed rescue efforts. When found, they were in poor condition with limited supplies, and were quickly taken to a military hospital. The region, including Everest Base Camp, faced closures due to the aftermath of Cyclone Montha.
