An English backpacker, Alicia Kemp, 25, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death after crashing her e-scooter into 51-year-old Thanh Phan in Perth while under the influence of alcohol. Following Phan’s death, which raised concerns about e-scooter regulations, Kemp remains in custody awaiting sentencing, facing a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
