Brief cooldown, then much warmer temps coming – NBC Chicago

After a brief cooldown on Sunday, warmer temperatures are expected in the Chicago area, with highs in the low-40s on Monday accompanied by gusty winds. Clouds will increase late Monday into Tuesday, with a chance of scattered showers in northwest Indiana, followed by dry conditions until late Friday when rain may return. Temperatures will dip slightly over the weekend, hovering around the upper-30s, before cooling back toward the low-30s next week.
