The East Aurora District 131 school board appointed Brian Moreno, a 28-year-old East Aurora High School graduate, to fill a vacant seat on the board left by former member Alex Arroyo. Moreno will serve the remainder of Arroyo’s term until April 2027. Additionally, Robert Halverson was approved as the district’s new superintendent, co-leading with outgoing superintendent Jennifer Norrell until June.
