Paul Ninson, a Ghanaian photojournalist, created a library of photobooks in Accra named the Dikan Center to bring the African story home and educate people about their history. Despite facing challenges in pursuing photography as a career in Ghana, Ninson was inspired by his love for storytelling and photography. He taught himself photography and shifted his focus to capturing stories of African history and culture. One of his projects, “Village With No Men,” showcased the female-only community of Umoja in northern Kenya.
