A man named Naveed Akram, 24, appeared in court via video link, accused of killing 15 people during the Hanukkah terror attack at Sydney’s Bondi Beach on December 14. His father, Sajid Akram, was also involved and was shot dead by police at the scene. Police allege the pair conducted pre-attack planning and used bombs and firearms against festivalgoers, injuring dozens. Akram’s next court appearance is scheduled for April.
