Two police officers and two individuals were pictured next to a blue utility truck stuck in sandy mud on the cockle beds at Cockle Bay Beach early Thursday morning. An adventurous motorist drove onto the soft and sticky cockle beds, resulting in the vehicle becoming stuck. The incident was reported to The Times by a local resident, who sent a photo at 2.30am, prompting police involvement.
