Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft may finally take its first crewed flight next week

After facing numerous setbacks and cost overruns totaling around $1.5 billion, Boeing’s Starliner crew capsule is finally ready for its first manned flight. Boeing was selected a decade ago, along with SpaceX, to create a spacecraft capable of transporting astronauts from American soil to the International Space Station (ISS).
