Slovenia’s mountain rescuers found the body of a Hungarian hiker lost in a blizzard in the Alps, with no signs of life, and are transporting it. The rescue team descended into a gorge using ropes after a Slovenian police helicopter located the man 250 meters lower under the snow. The snowstorm also caused power outages and disruptions in Croatia, Bosnia, and Serbia, emphasizing the importance of preparing and checking weather conditions before venturing into the mountains in Slovenia.
