Ahmed Lal, driving his friend’s BMW M4 at 68mph in Wellington, Shropshire, hit a pedestrian, causing serious injuries including fractures to the pelvic bone, left foot, and hip, as well as chest and eye bruising. Tested positive for cannabis, Lal, 24, was sentenced to five years in prison for dangerous driving after the incident on 18 June, 2023.
