A public schoolboy in Devon has been sentenced to life in prison for attacking two students and a teacher with hammers while they slept, claiming he was sleepwalking and on a mission to protect himself from a zombie apocalypse. The 16-year-old was found guilty of attempted murder after assaulting the victims at Blundell’s School, causing severe injuries. Evidence revealed his obsession with hammers as weapons and killing, although he maintained he was sleepwalking at the time of the attacks.
