The Toronto Blue Jays and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $28.5 million deal before the filing deadline, with Guerrero projected to have the highest salary among arbitration-eligible players this off-season. Despite winning an arbitration case last year, Guerrero had a much stronger season in 2023, earning accolades and leading the Blue Jays to reach agreements with all their arbitration-eligible players ahead of the deadline.
