Blue Jays Roundup: Baseball team wins Saturday, moving on to next round

On May 24, Williston High School’s baseball team was eliminated from the 2025 NDHSAA State Baseball Tournament after losing 9-2 to Jamestown in a state qualifying game. Jamestown’s Thomas Newman excelled on the mound, pitching a complete game with seven strikeouts and contributing offensively by going 2-for-2 with a double. The Blue Jays were strong at the plate, amassing eight hits and seven RBIs, securing their first state tournament appearance since 2023.
