The Toronto Blue Jays are set to visit Seattle, but many Canadians, particularly Vancouver-based fans, are choosing not to travel to the U.S. for the games. This decision comes amidst rising tensions, including President Donald Trump’s tariffs and comments about making Canada the 51st state. In April, there was a significant 51 percent decrease in the number of cars with B.C. license plates crossing into the U.S. from southwest B.C. compared to the same month in the previous year.
