A drop-in event will take place in Blantyre on Wednesday, October 16, offering advice on eligibility for pension credit and winter fuel payments. Hosted by local MSP Clare Haughey and Hamilton Citizens’ Advice Bureau at Blantyre Old Parish church hall, the event aims to assist residents impacted by the means testing of winter fuel payments. The event will run from 1pm to 3pm, alongside the weekly Warm Welcome group meeting, providing support to those affected by the changes in eligibility criteria.
