Before his rise to fame, Bill Hader worked at a movie theater where he was fired for a humorous act of revenge involving Titanic. After being mocked by a group of sorority girls, he spoiled the film’s ending by revealing that the boat sinks and that Leo’s character dies, which led to his dismissal by the manager. Hader shared this story during an appearance on Everybody’s in L.A. with John Mulaney, now streaming on Netflix, while also referencing James Cameron’s scientific study confirming that only one character could survive the icy waters.
