Sask. RCMP issue warning about armed individuals on Big Island Lake Cree Nation

At least one man is dead, and the RCMP are searching for two armed men on Big Island Lake Cree Nation. Residents have been advised to secure their homes and avoid the area. Larry Wahpistikwan reported that his son, Neil, was shot and killed early Tuesday morning, with others also injured and hospitalized. The RCMP have not confirmed the victim’s identity or details of the shooting, while the assailants were last seen on an ATV.
