Big Bear eaglet Sunny flies from the nest for the first time

Fans celebrated as Sunny, one of the eaglets from the Big Bear, California, nest, took her first flight, marking a significant milestone in her development. Sunny, along with her sibling Gizmo, has been closely watched via a 24-hour livestream since hatching in early March, despite the loss of one sibling. The Friends of Big Bear Valley reported Sunny’s flight at 10:46 AM, noting she may return to the nest, and by afternoon, her parents were seen feeding Gizmo while Sunny had yet to return.
