A rescue mission for Russian climber Natalia Nagovitsina, 47, who has been trapped for ten days at 22,965 feet on Victory Peak in Kyrgyzstan after breaking her leg, has been abandoned due to severe weather and failed attempts. Despite efforts from climbers and helicopters, conditions worsened following the death of fellow climber Luca Sinigaglia, leading rescue leaders to doubt her survival chances.
