Belarus releases 123 prisoners, US lifts sanctions.

Belarus has released 123 prisoners, including Nobel Peace Prize winner Ales Bialiatski and opposition figure Maria Kalesnikava, in exchange for US sanctions relief on potash. The US envoy announced the sanctions lift after talks with President Lukashenko. Belarus is a major potash producer. Ukraine also received 114 prisoners, including Ukrainian citizens and Belarusian political prisoners, who will receive medical care and may be transported to Poland or Lithuania.
