Quebec’s police oversight agency, the BEI, is investigating the death of a man during a police intervention in Trois-Rivières. The police operation took place after a 911 call reporting a person in crisis inside a residence. Upon arrival, officers found a person holding a firearm and opened fire, resulting in the victim’s death.
