Major Auction at Christie’s
In March, Christie’s in New York will host a significant multi-part auction featuring items from the renowned Jim Irsay Collection, which includes legendary musical instruments and historic memorabilia. Highlights include a 1966 Fender Mustang guitar owned by Kurt Cobain, expected to fetch up to $5 million, and a black Fender Stratocaster used by David Gilmour, anticipated to reach $4 million. Other notable items include a trumpet from Miles Davis, a saxophone from John Coltrane, and various Beatles artifacts. The auction runs from March 3 to March 17, both in-person and online.
