Batches of paracetamol urgently recalled over fears they could be contaminated

Batches of over-the-counter paracetamol from Chelonia Healthcare Ltd have been recalled due to potential contamination concerns, as some tablets were found to be discoloured. The affected batches, with codes 2312010 and 2312011 and an expiry date of November 2027, can only be dispensed with a prescription. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) advised individuals to contact their pharmacist if they possess discoloured tablets and to seek medical attention if they experience any adverse reactions after consumption.
