Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the North Channel Bridge in Mumbai, connecting the Coastal Road Project to the Worli-Bandra Sea Link, reducing travel time between Bandra and Marine Drive to 10 minutes. The bridge, part of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project, spans 827 meters and is designed to improve transit between South Mumbai and the northern suburbs, with the first phase nearly 94% complete. The bridge will operate daily from 7 am to midnight, with four new interchange arms at Worli and Haji Ali aiding in smoother traffic flow.
