Rotorua triple murder charges: Justin Jeffries enters not guilty insanity plea

A man accused of a triple murder in Rotorua, Justin Matthew Jeffries, 52, of Mamaku, has pleaded not guilty on grounds of insanity and is taking the case to trial. The victims include Michelle Nicola Schiller, 59, and Jessie Florence Currin, 78, and Glendon Brent Currin, 77. Jeffries is also charged with wounding Adam Sour with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on September 23.
