Authorities believe Harold Rashad Dabney III, 26, ambushed and fatally attacked retired Auburn University professor Julie Gard Schnuelle, 59, while she walked her dog in Kiesel Park, leading to his arrest for capital murder. Schnuelle, who had a significant impact as an educator, was found dead with multiple sharp force injuries, and Dabney also stole her truck following the incident.
