Australian String Quartet Begins National Tours at WA Museum

The Australian String Quartet will commence both of its 2026 national tours in Perth, showcasing a strong connection with local audiences. The first tour, starting on May 11, features contemporary composer Elizabeth Younan’s String Quartet No.1, followed by Haydn’s String Quartet in A Major, Opus 20, No.6, Prokofiev’s String Quartet No.2, and Clara Schumann’s Variations. The second tour opens on October 12 with Garth Knox’s Satellites, progressing to Bartok’s String Quartet No.4 and concluding with Beethoven’s String Quartet in B-flat major, Opus 130.
