Australia Revokes Visa of Israeli Influencer for Hate Speech
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Australia has canceled the visa of Israeli social media influencer Sammy Yahood, known for spreading Islamophobic content, stating that the country will not accept visitors promoting hatred. Minister for Home Affairs Tony Burke emphasized that spreading hate is not a valid reason for entry. Yahood’s visa was revoked shortly before his flight to Melbourne, following his inflammatory posts about Islam and calls for the deportation of U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar. Despite the visa cancellation, Yahood attempted to travel to Abu Dhabi but was barred from continuing to Australia, claiming he faced unlawful censorship.
