An Australian couple, Paul and Naomi Wright, along with nearly 30 others, were trapped by heavy snow at the Tan Hill Inn in North Yorkshire. They were rescued by local farmers who cleared the roads with plough equipment, allowing the group to make a “mad dash” to safety. The group had been stranded for three days, spending their time playing in the snow, making snowmen, and celebrating together before their escape.
