Auckland FC claimed a 1-0 win over Macarthur FC in Unite Round, extending their winning streak to four matches and taking top spot on the A-League Men table. Guillermo May scored in the 34th minute at Allianz Stadium, with Auckland remaining undefeated and the only team to have won all their fixtures, also keeping a clean sheet across the opening five rounds. Macarthur FC remains in seventh place after their third loss, with Walter Scott’s poor pass leading to May’s goal and Ariath Piol missing a chance to equalize in the 67th minute.
