At least nine people were killed and many more, including women and children, were abducted during a recent attack in Zamfara State, Nigeria, by armed groups known as “bandits.” Local officials reported that the attackers targeted Jangebe village, prompting widespread fear and displacement among residents, as violence in the region continues to escalate amid ongoing conflicts over land and resources.
