Arvind Kejriwal’s Plea For Extension Of Bail Won’t Be Heard By Supreme Court

The Supreme Court denied Arvind Kejriwal’s request for a 7-day extension of his interim bail in a corruption case related to the Delhi liquor policy.

Last month, the Court granted Mr. Kejriwal interim bail to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, with a surrender date of June 2.

The Supreme Court registrar refused the plea, stating that the Delhi Chief Minister could seek regular bail in the trial court.
