Bass fishing is not allowed until June 15 in Region Six due to the red nose goby, but once temperatures reach the 50s, perch and bass will become more prevalent. Despite low water levels and a slower ice melt, anglers are still enjoying excellent brown trout fishing in the bay, with lake trout season already underway.
