Iranians living abroad may face property confiscation and legal penalties if they express support for the U.S. and Israel, as warned by Iran’s prosecutor general’s office. The office issued a statement targeting those who sympathize or cooperate with what it calls the “American-Zionist enemy.” Despite the threats, some diaspora members remain unfazed, emphasizing their commitment to the struggle for change in Iran. The Iranian diaspora is estimated to be between 5 and 10 million, primarily located in the U.S. and Europe.
