The IDF targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting headquarters in Tehran, which is controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Two explosions were reported at the site following the strike. Prior to the attack, the IDF issued a Farsi-language evacuation warning for residents in the Evin area and around the IRIB station, advising them to leave immediately as military operations were expected.
