US Cautions IRGC on Escalatory Actions

US Central Command (CENTCOM) urged Iran to conduct its upcoming live-fire naval exercise safely and professionally, set to take place in the Strait of Hormuz for two days starting Sunday. While acknowledging Iran’s right to operate in international waters, CENTCOM warned against unsafe actions that could threaten US personnel or assets. It emphasized that any dangerous maneuvers, such as low-altitude overflights or aggressive approaches to US vessels, would not be tolerated. CENTCOM reiterated the professionalism of the US military and called on Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to adhere to international norms.
