Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited Oman on May 27 for bilateral discussions focused on cooperation, including infrastructure and trade, while Oman mediates US-Iran talks on the nuclear program. The Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said welcomed Pezeshkian amidst ongoing tensions, including Israeli airstrikes on the Houthis.
