Around 60 flights were delayed at Kolkata airport on Monday due to poor visibility, with low visibility procedures in place from 7 am. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport Director Pravat Ranjan Beuria stated that no traffic movement occurred from 7:10 am to 9 am, resulting in 30 flight arrivals and departures being delayed, with five incoming flights diverted. Despite the disruptions, arrangements were made to assist stranded passengers, and visibility improved after 9 am, allowing the first flight, Emirates from Dubai (EK 570), to arrive at 9:04 am.
