Three suburban teens, including Merrill Lee of Oak Brook, Andrius Marchertas, and Timas Marchertas of Clarendon Hills, are active members of the prestigious Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, showcasing their musical talents on the violin, cello, and trumpet. Lee, in her fifth year with the orchestra, values the community, leadership skills, and memorable experiences it offers, while Andrius Marchertas praises the challenging compositions and conductors for helping him grow as a musician.
