Archaeologists in London unearthed a Roman basilica dating back almost 2,000 years, part of the city’s origins at the heart of Londinium. The remains, including flint, brick, and ragstone walls, were found during excavations for a new office tower, offering insights into Roman London’s social, political, and commercial hub.
