Arab ministers reject Trump’s call to displace Palestinians from Gaza

Foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, along with other officials, issued a joint statement rejecting Trump’s call for the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, emphasizing the importance of upholding Palestinian rights and stability in the region. Despite Trump’s proposal, Egypt and Jordan, key US allies, have both rejected the idea, with Egypt’s President el-Sisi stating that displacing Palestinians is an injustice that they cannot be a part of. The ministers also expressed a commitment to achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East through a two-state solution and welcomed Egypt’s plan for an international conference to rebuild Gaza.
