Walter Roberto Vides-Ortez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador wanted for child rape, was arrested last week after a failed operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in February. Vides-Ortez had been living near a school since entering the U.S. illegally in 2016, following an arrest warrant issued in El Salvador.
