Laney faces charges including distributing fentanyl resulting in death, operating an unregistered aircraft for narcotics crimes, possessing methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to distribute, and possessing firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking. If convicted on all charges, Laney could face a minimum of 25 years in federal prison up to life imprisonment.
