A beta version of Android 16 features an early iteration of Google’s Android Desktop Mode, which allows users to connect their smartphones to a monitor and use them like a desktop or laptop. Reported by Mishaal Rahman for Android Authority, this mode, similar to Samsung’s DeX, includes a PC-like interface with an app taskbar and windowed applications.
