Thessaloniki, Greece is unveiling a new subway system showcasing archaeological discoveries that delayed the project for decades. The 9.6-kilometer line, set to open on Nov. 30, features driverless trains and archaeological artifacts spanning centuries unearthed during construction. The project, with a cost of 3 billion euros, integrates ancient and modern elements, including Roman-era roads and Byzantine artifacts, delighting residents after years of bureaucratic delays.
