Amnesty accuses Iran of firing cluster munitions at Israel

Amnesty International reported that during the June war between Iran and Israel, Iranian forces used cluster munitions, violating international law and endangering civilian lives, particularly in populated areas like Gush Dan, Beersheba, and Rishon LeZion. The use of such indiscriminate weapons is prohibited under the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, which neither Iran nor Israel has signed.
